For NHS appointments Sign Language Interpreters are provided and they are all free, you do not pay for that. It’s the hospital or the NHS who provide the funding, they pay for the Sign Language interpreters.
The only time you may have to pay, if it is a private Health appointment. If you’re not sure, check with us and we can let you know if it’s free or not.
Sometimes the NHS hospital may use private hospital for their clinics. So we may have to check first to see which is which. Unfortunately, If not, then you’d have to pay and it’s up to you to decide what to do next.
